About Therapy

321197018The alarm goes off. It’s that time…

That familiar sense of dread sets in.

Another day… another long list of tasks demanding your attention.

You notice that sinking feeling – those knots in your stomach and tension in your shoulders.

You’re like a thread pulled apart and tangled up – a cup that’s been poured out and now sits empty.

From the outside looking in,
you have it all.

But it sure doesn’t feel that way.

There’s always tension at home, and your relationships are exhausting.

Work is stressful, and you feel underappreciated.

You’re on a carousel, rotating between anger, worry, and sadness. Sometimes, it seems easier not to feel anything at all.

You are desperate to feel better – to feel balanced and whole again. You want to enjoy your life and chase after things that really matter.

1820524982That’s where counseling comes in.

Many of my clients battle perfectionism, overwhelm, and difficult relationships.

They are caregivers, focused on others and generous by nature.

Like you, they are strong and capable, accustomed to meeting demands and getting things done.

But it’s time to make time for yourself.

Even if it’s just an hour.

Walking into my cozy office, you’ll immediately notice soft music and a calming aroma. The couch is inviting.

You’ll take a long, deep breath and settle in. We talk, and you feel supported, valued, and empowered.

This must be what it feels like to take care of yourself!

If you’ve never been to therapy…

You’ll be relieved to know it’s a judgment-free space.

Here, you have the freedom to share openly… and time to reflect.

You’ll learn to cope with stress, handle disappointment, and communicate more effectively so you can experience a life with fewer struggles and more joy.

About Me

Stephanie Arnold Spring 2024I met a cute guy in college.

He loved working with kids and made a mean grilled cheese sandwich. When I learned he also played the guitar, I was done for! We married and had three kids in four years.

In 2012, we moved from Pennsylvania to Texas for a ministry position. We’ve been trying to break in our cowboy boots ever since!

We spend a lot of time at church, driving our kids to sports practice and playing with our Goldendoodle, Winston. As a wife and mom of three, I know it’s not easy to balance home, work, and family.

When I studied psychology…

I loved learning about how people think, learn, and behave.

Unique experiences and personalities are fascinating, but I’ve come to understand there are common threads that tie us all together.

My clinical mental health counseling degree helped me link my desire to help others with practice skills that can bring real and lasting change.

My therapeutic style is warm…

I’m down-to-earth and encouraging.

With a foundation of trust and safety, we’ll use evidence-based techniques to support your individual needs.

We’ll set goals and work toward them one by one, creating a balanced life you love.

Because you deserve it!

I can’t wait to meet you. Give me a call. Let’s see how I can help: (512) 994-1600.
